VyTA Santa Margherita
Naples

Located in the basement of the Central Station between the metro and the Circumvesuviana line, VyTA Santa Margherita in Naples is an open space. Large crystal windows separate the continuous flow of travelers from an intimate environment characterized by material and color contrasts. The contemporary image for the most ‘minimal’ product of Italian cuisine comes from a formal rigor and an innovative elegance free of superfluous, resulting from a refined minimalism and a reduction to the essential. The rosette, a typical type of bread eaten by workers in the 1700s, becomes a three-dimensional macro sign thanks to its oversized form, creating an intimate and welcoming environment in which customers can taste the world’s oldest product, while observing a fast-moving city during their breaks.
